Lucia Štasselová Lucia is an architect, fundraiser, activist, and municipal politician. She led the largest grant-making organisation for children and youth in Slovakia – the Foundation for Children of Slovakia. Since 2014, she has served as a municipal deputy in the capital city, Bratislava, and was Deputy Mayor for Social Affairs and Affordable Housing. In 2017, she co-initiated the Call to Humanity in response to the migration crisis.
She currently chairs the board of directors of People in Peril, the largest Slovak humanitarian aid organisation. Her work in 2017 was recognised by both the President of the Slovak Republic and the Public Defender of Rights. For more information, email: lucia.stasselova@gmail.com.
